Fred W. Brackebusch Director
Fred is a professional mining engineer with over 25 years experience
in mine development and mine management. He has a M.S. in Geological Engineering
from the University of Idaho. His consulting company, Mine Systems Design, Inc.,
specializes in paste backfill. Fred holds two patents in the mining field and
is recognized worldwide as an expert in the development of paste backfill and
paste tailings systems. Grant Brackebusch
Director Grant is a professional mining engineer;
he holds a B.S. degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Idaho. Grant
supervises mine operations at NJMC. Ivan Linscott, Ph.
D. Director Dr. Linscott is a physicist at Stanford
University. He is a Senior Research Associate for radioscience spacecraft instrument
development and is Co-Investigator and Science Team Member for the New Horizons
Mission to encounter the planet Pluto. Ivan has a strong interest in doing research
on exploration techniques in the Coeur d’Alene Mining District. M.
Kathleen Sims Director Kathy is a former Idaho State
Senator and a successful businesswoman. She is a former member of the State of
Idaho Human Rights Commission and is active in the Idaho Republican Party. Kathy
brings her extensive exprience in finance, business planning, management, and
government relations to NJMC's Board. William
C. Rust Director Bill Rust is a metallurgical engineer
with extensive experience in the Silver Valley. He worked for Asarco as Chief
Metallurgist. Later he worked for CoCa mines at Grouse Creek in Central Idaho
and for McCulley, Frick and Gilman, an environmental consulting firm. His last
assignment was with Getchell Gold Inc. in Nevada where he was Mill Manager and
Senior Metallurgist for a 3,200 ton/day gold plant. Bill is presently semi-retired
and lives near Wallace. He is on the Technical Advisory Committee for the Basin
Commission, representing the County Commissioners. |
